Not Nordic

A man in an Icelandic jumper standing on a lava rock by the sea on a gloomy, stormy day.

I love this photo of the husband. He looks so serene. I took it in Iceland on our third Iceland trip back in 2017. When we're in Iceland, he keeps being mistaken for an Icelandic. The grocery story clerk would say something in Icelandic and he'd be like "Guh?" It's kind of funny. He also kept being mistaken for a Norwegian the one time we were in Norway for a road trip. It's the blond hair and blue eyes, I guess. I don't think he has any Nordic lineage, though.

I wanted to post this photo somewhere but I didn't know where since I'd stopped posting to Instagram and Facebook. But then I thought, hey, I do have a new blog! And that was the appropriately boring origin story of this blog post.

The end.
